Join Us in February for Silk’n LiveLab
Silk’n LiveLab is officially launching on February 1st and will continue throughout the month of February. We will be hosting amazing events for the next three weeks on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday nights starting at 6:00 pm CST! If you are in the Chicago area, feel free to join any of our open studio events at 678 Wells Street. If you are outside the area, tune in to our Facebook Live stream! February 1st – This Not That
With a constant stream of new beauty ideas, Pinterest boards and magazine secrets, it’s hard to know what you should be doing. “THIS and Not That.” Is a night of beauty hacks LIVE, set to show off the latest in beauty technology from Silk’n, alongside the latest life-hacks, tips and DIY secrets that every woman should know! This event is open to the public and will also be streamed via Facebook Live.
February 2nd – Leading Ladies
A panel of leading ladies in Chicago will discuss their roads to success in life, work, beauty and aging gracefully in an informal cocktail setting. Featuring best selling author Jamie Freveletti, Tech business owner and Co-Founder of Latino Fashion Week, Arabel Alva Rosales and Beth Allen Tiernan, Managing Broker of Jameson Sotheby’s Gold Coast. These influential women will offer their secrets to success and participate in a Q&A with invited women in Chicago who are in the paramount of life. The panel will also take part in an 8-week challenge not to “let lines define them” with Silk’n FaceFx.
February 3rd – Enter Stage Right
Get a leg up on the best-kept secret in shaving, or not shaving – being Silk’n not shaven. A night for any and all performers and artists who put their best foot forward on stage, every day, and have to look beautiful doing it. Enter Stage Right is a high performance affair featuring burlesque performers from the Beth Fowler Dance Studio, drinks and light appetizers. This event is open to the public and will be streamed via Facebook Live.
February 8th – Silk’n Love
In love with beautiful technology? Tonight is all about you. Silk’n Love is an informal cocktail and appreciation night for Chicago’s loyal Silk’n customers. If you’ve purchased a Silk’n product in the past and loved it – we want to know! Loyalists are invited to come through the Silk’n LiveLab to enjoy a few cocktails, music and learn about the latest product lines. Plus, we invite you to bring a friend or two so we can spread the love even further.
February 9th – Flash Forward
Fashion never stands still. Flash Forward to see some of the newest fashions from Chicago designers Anna Hovet, and Galore Nightime designer Moi Soli. As an added surprise, New York Designer Raul Penaranda (named “the fastest growing fashion entrepreneur in the country” by Forbes) will share his newest collection premiering at New York Fashion Week. We’ll get to see it one day before his fashions preview on the runway.
February 10th – Bridal Beauty
Your wedding is coming up, fast. We’ll help get you “wedding ready” by sharing the newest trends in wedding gowns, floral, wedding cakes, catering, event planning, dance lessons and more. Celebrity Eventeur Debi Lilly (named Top Wedding Planner in the USA) will be hosting. This event is open to the public and will be streamed via Facebook Live!
February 15th – The Future of Beauty Care is Here
$56 billion dollars is spent annually in the US on cosmetics, and sales are not slowing down anytime soon in 2017. However, the potions of yesterday are not the products of today. Where is the beauty aids industry going this year, and how does technology intersect into the average woman’s beauty routine? An expert panel of beauty advisors, dermatologists and stylists will join the Silk’n LiveLab for one night only to discuss what lies ahead for women and how they can update their beauty routines from regimens of generations of old. This event is open to the public and will be streamed via Facebook Live!
February 16th – Pajama Party
We’re having a totally relaxed and fun night for a few lucky groups of Chicago teenage girls in the city. A Silk’n pajama party will focus on informal group discussions with newer beauty product users. Our special guests will be treated to a beauty makeover and a comfy Silk’n surprise.
February 17th – Silk’n City
Staying beautiful can be a lot of work. We’re going to make it a lot of laughs. We’ve given some very funny ladies (improv comediennes) carte blanche on the subject of beauty care.
