  Silk’n LED Face Mask 100 is a skin improving beauty tool. It can be used to tackle a range of skin concerns, including signs of aging, acne, and dry skin.

• Which skin problems are tackled by the different LED colors?

  Red light, 620nm: Helps to promote and improve blood circulation, stimulates the production of collagen, and tightens the skin.
  
  Blue light, 460nm: Helps to improve acne-prone skin and reduces oil secretion.
  
  Infrared light, 850nm: helps to increase the moisture level of the skin and improves skin roughness.
  
  Mixed light, 460-850nm: helps to improve skin imperfections and has anti-inflammatory benefits.

• What is the difference between Silk'n LED Face Mask 100 and other LED face masks on the market?

  As opposed to masks that are made of hard, non-flexible material, Silk'n LED Face Mask 100 is made of natural silicone material. This means that the mask is flexible, fits your skin perfectly, and is comfortable to wear. Moreover, because the LED lights of the Silk'n LED Face mask are better formed to your skin, they can penetrate more deeply and evenly, leading to improved results.
  
  Furthermore, Silk'n LED Face Mask 100 allows to treat your skin with 4 different LED colors; each color tackles a different skin concern.

• How does the Silk'n LED Face Mask 100 work?

  The LED light (red, blue, infrared, or mixed) is absorbed by the deeper layers of the skin. This triggers cellular activity, which helps to renew skin cells and repair aging tissue. After each treatment, the skin looks more beautiful and radiant than before.

• Is it suitable for everyone?

  It is suitable for both women and men, for all skin types, and all skin colors. This device is not designed for everyone's condition. Therefore please read the contraindications in the user manual in its entirety before you start your sessions.

• Is the Silk'n LED Face Mask 100 safe?

  Silk’n LED Face Mask 100 has been thoroughly tested with the conclusion that it is safe to use in a typical home environment by both men and women. Always read the manual carefully before using LED Face Mask 100.

• Does the treatment hurt?

  No. You will only feel a mild sensation of warmth during your treatment. You may also experience some very mild pink-like coloration of the skin during and just after the session, which will gradually fade within a short time.
  

• How should I use Silk’n LED Face Mask 100?

  After you have fully charged Silk'n LED Face Mask 100, thoroughly clean and dry your face and hands. Make sure they are free from any makeup or dirt. Sit or lie down and place the face mask over your face. You can use the fasteners to fit the mask comfortably on your face. Finally, choose the mode or color with which you would like to treat.

• Should I apply a serum or cream before the treatment?

  No, before the treatment your skin must be dry. You can apply a serum or day/night cream after the treatment with the Silk'n LED Face Mask 100.

• How long does a treatment session take?

  In manual mode, one single session takes 10 minutes, during which the one LED color selected will be active. The mask automatically switches off after 10 minutes.
  
  In auto mode, all four LED colors will be active and this session takes 15 minutes. The mask automatically switches off after 15 minutes.
  
  Important: we advise to treat your skin no longer than 15 minutes per session.

• How often should I use the Silk'n LED Face Mask 100it?

  If you are using the product for the first time, follow the schedule below:
  
  First week: use 3 - 4 times a week, max. 10-15 minutes at a time.
  
  Second week: use 3 - 4 times a week, max. 10-15 minutes at a time.
  
  Third week: use 3 - 4 times a week, max. 10-15 minutes at a time.
  
  Fourth week: use 1 - 2 times a week, max. 10-15 minutes at a time.
  
  As soon as results show, adjust the frequency to once or twice per week.

• When can I expect results?

  The effect of using this product mainly depends on your skin type. Additionally, results vary from person to person. Normally you can expect results in about 2-3 weeks.

• Should I do anything after the treatment?

  After treatment you can apply a serum and/or a day/night cream to nourish your skin.

• Can I sunbathe?

  Yes. Because Silk’n LED Face Mask 100 is not a laser, you can sunbathe immediately before or after the treatment. However, we do recommend that you apply a cream with SPF protection when you are exposed to the sun due to the general aging effect of its UV light.
  

• Is there any recovery time?

  Silk’n LED Face Mask 100 works in a different way from laser, which means that there is no need for a recovery period. The chance of skin damage is greatly reduced. You can immediately carry on with your daily activities.

• At what age can it be used?

  This device is suitable from the age of 18 and up.

• Am I allowed to use this device when I am pregnant or nursing?

  No, you are not allowed to use this device when your are pregnant or nursing.

• Should I close my eyes during the treatment?

  No, that is not necessary.

• Can I use this device if I have dermal fillers or have undergone professional (surgical) treatments like a facelift, micro needling, or ablative RF/laser?

  This product was not tested on people who have dermal fillers or have undergone professional (surgical) treatments. Therefore, we cannot advise to use this product in such cases. If one of these conditions applies to you, we advise to speak with your physician before using the LED Face Mask 100.
  
  In the event that you have undergone micro needling or ablative RF/laser, we recommend that you wait until your skin has completely healed before using your LED Face Mask 100. If you have any concerns, consult your doctor before using the LED Face Mask 100.

• How do I clean my mask?

  You can clean the Silk'n LED Face Mask 100 by using a damp cloth or a water-based wipe. Then wipe it dry with a dry cloth.

• What is the irradiation intensity per cm2?

  With an average distance of 0.5 mm, the irradiance is ~28.5 mW/cm2.
